Ski and storage lockers in Voss Resort. We have storage lockers and ski lockers for daily and long-term rentals. You can find the lockers at Hangurstoppen and at Scandic Hotel.

At Hangurstoppen I have 60 storage lockers and 10 ski lockers that you can rent.

You can choose between two different lockers:

  • storage lockers has space for a bag, shoes and valuables (purchased on Hangurstoppen).
  • single ski locker has space for two pairs of skis, ski boots and helmet. Due to the limited number of single ski lockers for short-term hire at Hangurstoppen, we encourage you to pre-order these at skishop@vossresort.no. Stop by the ski school/ski rental at Hangurstoppen for payment and administration.

You must have a keycard to book and use a locker, as you open and lock the locker with the keycard. You can buy a keycard in the ski shop at Hangurstoppen.

Period

Long-term rentals run from 1 November to 30 October. We only have ski lockers available at Scandic Hotel. If you want a ski locker at Hangurstoppen, you can put yourself on the waiting list. Please contact skishop@vossresort.no.

About ski lockers

All seasonal ski lockers have built-in shoe dryers in the locker. Heating is automatically switched on in the ski locker in the afternoon and overnight, so that the equipment is dry and ready for the next day. Voss Resort has a ski locker for seasonal hire on the ground floor of the Scandic Hotel at street level (see picture). The facility is 90 metres away on foot, to the right of the bus terminal from the main entrance to the Voss Gondola. Lockers are similar to those at Hangurstoppen, with the same use of your ski pass as the key to your locker and the front door.

Guest Services in Voss Resort at the main entrance to the gondola is responsible for the daily operation of the ski locker at Scandic. The ski school helps with all practical issues related to the lockers at Hangurstoppen. The ski school follows the ski resort's opening hours from the start of the season.

How to use your ski locker

The first time you use your ski locker, you need to bring the lift pass/keycard that will have access to your ski locker to configure the locker manually. You use the lift pass/keycard to unlock your ski locker and enter the room where the ski locker is located. All lockers have a unique code that is linked to your lift pass. You may not open lockers other than your own.

You can link up to four keycards to your ski locker. It is important to note that the hire contract is personally linked to the hirer and to the four keycards. It is not possible to sublet the locker to others. If you lose your lift pass/keycard, you will have to buy a new one and set it up again.
